The SMBIOS7 entry point contains general information, like SMBIOS8 version, DMI table size, etc. The structure, content and9 size of SMBIOS entry point is dependent on SMBIOS version.10 The format of SMBIOS entry point and DMI structures11 can be read in SMBIOS specification.12 13 The dmi/tables provides raw SMBIOS entry point and DMI tables14 through sysfs as an alternative to utilities reading them15 from /dev/mem. The raw SMBIOS entry point and DMI table are16 presented as binary attributes and are accessible via:17 18 /sys/firmware/dmi/tables/smbios_entry_point19 /sys/firmware/dmi/tables/DMI20 21 The complete DMI information can be obtained using these two22 tables.23
