Public is free, forever.
Every machine runs in your browser, on your CPU, with your RAM, talking to your own USB devices. We never throttle, meter, or rate-limit the runtime — you pay only when you want the cloud to keep a private copy.

Frequently asked
- Where does my machine actually run?
- In your browser tab. brintOS's WebAssembly hypervisor uses your real CPU, RAM, and USB ports — there is no remote VM, no shared host, and no cap on what your hardware can do. The cloud is just where we keep your root filesystem safe so any browser you authorize can boot it.
- Why are public machines free?
- Public machines exist to be forked. The more people use them, the more useful brintOS becomes — we'd rather everyone publish than gatekeep great toolchains behind a paywall.
- What does the paid plan buy me?
- Private machines, a generous slice of cloud storage so you can hop between devices, and Network-as-a-service — a real virtual NIC for your kernel with raw IP, UDP, and ICMP outbound. The execution itself is identical to the free plan — your CPU, your RAM, full speed.
